  • If there’s a problem, like a flat tire, and couriers can’t pick up an order, they can cancel the trip in their app. If they or someone else has been injured and couriers need emergency help, always can call the authorities first.

  • Couriers can cancel the order. It’s helpful to us if they let Uber Eats customer support know that couriers weren’t able to find someone who works there, so the restaurant can update their information.

  • When demand is high, restaurants may take longer than usual to prepare the food. If the courier have waited longer than 15 minutes and the food still isn’t ready, they can cancel the order through the app. Tap Excessive wait time when prompted for a reason.
