Uber Direct allows you to complete deliveries for merchants other than restaurants.
Over the last month, we’ve completed surveys with couriers in South Africa to understand more about your earnings when driving using Uber Direct.
Part of our commitment to you is to look at ways to ensure that Uber remains a reliable earnings opportunity for Uber Direct Moto delivery people. Based on your feedback, on 29 July 2020, we are increasing prices on Uber Direct Moto.
New Uber Direct price structure
Pickup and drop off fee – ZAR 10
Per Kilometre – ZAR 4.08*
Minimum fare – ZAR 18.75*
* These amounts are net of the service fee.
Want to earn extra?
Go to Driving Preferences in the driver-app and tap Uber Direct
Disclaimer:
Please note that the above fare increase only relates to Uber Direct trips and not UberEats trips.
