Know the driver before you go
- Each time a driver-partner accepts a request, you can see his first name, profile picture, rating and plate number. Thanks to that you can easily find the right car. To make communication process even better, riders can contact their driver—and vice versa—through the app if there is any confusion around pick-up details.
- After every ride, riders and driver-partners are required to rate each other. Your feedback really matters: it helps our safety team to investigate any issues and as an effect, users may be removed.
Trips on track
- Each trip is tracked by the GPS system. Thanks to that we can keep a record of every ride. It allows us to verify if the most efficient routes are being used, which creates accountability and a strong incentive for good behavior.
- To feel even safer riders can easily share trip details, including the real time route and estimated time of arrival with friends or family. They can track your trip and see your ETA without downloading the Uber app.
- If something happens while in the car, our customer support staff is ready to respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If cases where law enforcement is involved, we use the trip details to get the facts.
Driving hours limit
- To help our drivers staying focus on the road, we introduced driving hours limitation. After driving for total of 12 hours, driver will be required to take an uninterrupted 6 hour break before he can use the app again.
Safe car
- To keep you safe on the road, all vehicles on our platform need to meet all of our requirements regarding the technical conditions and valid inspection, year of production and insurance.
You always know how much you’ll pay
- Thanks to upfront pricing you will see how much your ride costs before requesting it. No surprises or complicated maths – just sit back and enjoy your ride!
- Clear pricing: upfront fares are calculated using the expected time and distance of the trip and local traffic, as well as how many riders and nearby drivers are using the app at that moment. Because of additional stops or change in route the final fare may differ from the upfront fare.
