October 21, 2016 / Phoenix

  1. Open the Uber app
  2. Slide over to the “Pink View” option
  3. Take a ride!

“The funds raised through this promotion with Uber will make a big difference to many people receiving cancer treatment,” said Andy Kramer Petersen, president and CEO, Banner Health Foundation. “All donations will directly support programs and services for patients at Banner MD Anderson.”

“We are so pleased to partner with Banner Health Foundation in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Steve Thompson, Uber Arizona general manager. “Uber’s ‘Pink View’ provides riders with the opportunity to join us in supporting cancer care and those who are receiving treatment throughout Arizona.”

Haven’t taken a ride yet? Download the Uber app now through Dec. 31 and uses the new user promo code, GIVEHOPE. First time riders will receive their first ride with Uber for free (up to $15); an additional $10 will go back to Banner Health Foundation to support Banner MD Anderson.
