We asked drivers what would make Uber Pro better. The result? A more rewarding and flexible program built on your feedback. First announced at last year’s Only on Uber event, the new and improved Uber Pro will begin rolling out in select cities the week of February 9, bringing exclusive rewards designed just for you.
The reimagined Uber Pro gives you more earnings opportunities, more flexibility, and a better day-to-day experience. Uber Pro works like this: accept trips, cancel less, get riders where they need to go safely, and earn points—doing so can get you to higher tiers and unlock better rewards.
Starting the week of February 9, the upgraded Uber Pro will begin rolling out in:

Great service earns you more
Gold, Platinum, and Diamond drivers will get more earnings opportunities
- 5% Pro Perk: Earn 5% more on trip fares for UberX and most other ride types compared to Blue drivers.¹
- Uber One membership (coming soon): Diamond drivers get a free 3-month Uber One membership to enjoy $0 Delivery Fee, up to 10% off eligible orders, and more.² Timing to be announced.
Improved day-to-day experience
New rewards help you save time and easily plan your day
- Priority Rides: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond drivers gain early access to more Exclusive Trip requests.³
- Trip Radar Advantage: Get priority Trip Radar matching at airports and on certain trips everywhere else you drive. The higher your status, the more priority you get.⁴
- Priority Reserve: Platinum and Diamond drivers get more Reserve trip opportunities so you can plan your day your way.
Making progress easier and more rewarding
- More flexibility for higher tiers: Reduced point requirements for Gold and Platinum, along with lower acceptance and cancellation rate criteria to qualify for Gold status.
- Rewarding safe driving: A new Driving Insights score requirement for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, designed to recognize and reward safer driving habits.
- Easier tracking with Uber Pro Hub: A redesigned, easy-to-use hub that helps you track your progress, explore rewards, and see how close you are to reaching your next tier.
The rewards you know and love
All current Uber Pro rewards will continue to be available, including popular ones like a free 1-year Costco Gold Star membership and gas savings with Upside.
Eligibility for some rewards may shift as we update the criteria for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, and we’ll share more details soon. Terms will apply.
You go the extra mile for your riders, now Uber Pro offers upgraded rewards that go the extra mile for you. The new Uber Pro will be coming to more cities in the future.
Drivers of licensed Taxis in Chicago who utilize the Uber platform are excluded from Uber Pro, it’s associated rewards and these program updates.
¹Available only to Uber Pro Gold, Platinum, and Diamond drivers taking eligible non-premium rides. Commute, delivery trips (such as Uber Eats and Uber Connect), Hourly, Uber Black, Uber Black SUV, Uber Intercity, Uber Premier, Uber Premier SUV, and Uber Reserve trips are not eligible for 5% Pro Perk additional earnings. Certain earnings such as promotions, tips, tolls, and other third-party fees and operational expenses as stated on your receipt are not included in the calculation of 5% Pro Perk additional earnings. The 5% Pro Perk additional earnings is in comparison to eligible earnings that a driver in Blue would earn for the same trip. Uber does not guarantee drivers will experience higher earnings than earnings received prior to the launch of the 5% Pro Perk. Subject to change in Uber’s discretion.

Membership will not auto-renew at the end of the 3 months.
