Your guide to March in South Florida

March is a busy time in South Florida, as families, college students, and others look to escape winter weather. Most notably, at the end of the month, music festival fans flock to Miami to attend Ultra Music Festival.

Miami Music Week

All roads lead to Ultra Music Festival for electronic dance music fans. Before the big weekend kicks off, they’ll be heading to music events throughout the Miami area.

  • When: March 19-22
  • Where: Downtown Miami, Wynwood, Miami Beach
  • Pro tip: As festival attendees arrive in South Florida, we’re expecting an increase in airport trips. 
Ultra Music Festival

Taking place in Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, Ultra Music Festival is an annual three-day event, attracting thousands of electronic dance music festival fans.

  • When: March 23-25
  • Where: Bayfront Park.  
  • Important: Biscayne Blvd. will be closed during the festival. In accordance with city regulations, please adhere to road closures and do not drop off riders on Biscayne Blvd.  
  • Pickups: Once the show wraps up each night, riders will be directed via in-app messaging, to exit the park and walk towards 2nd Ave. to request. 
Wynwood road closures 

In accordance with city regulations, please adhere to the following road closures in the Wynwood area.

Road closure location: NW 23rd Streets between 5th & 6th Ave.
When: Thursday-Saturday, 1am-5am
Suggested pickup location: NW 5th Ave. between 25rd and 26th Streets  

Road closure location: 21st Street
When: Friday-Sunday, evening-late night
Suggested pickup location: NW Miami Ct. between 21st and 22nd Streets or Miami Ave.
