Uber Champions, Representatives Cory Mason and Tyler August helped us celebrate by snagging the first Uber rides in their towns. Thank you for supporting Uber!

“Uber coming to Racine will give my constituents a much needed transportation option to move around town. With the TNC legislation now law, we have given companies like Uber the certainty they need to operate statewide and consumers the protection they need to be safe. I am happy to help bring a new business to town.”
—Rep. Cory Mason

“As a champion for innovation, I am pleased to finally welcome Uber into our community.  The goal of our statewide legislative push was to ensure innovative businesses, like ridesharing, and economic opportunities could flourish throughout Wisconsin – and starting this Thursday, Uber can do just that.”
—Rep. Tyler August

WHAT IS uberX?

In Wisconsin, our ridesharing service uberX offers Uber convenience with prices cheaper than a taxi. uberX driver partners have vehicles in a variety of colors and styles, with seating for up to four passengers. To maintain the Uber standard you expect, all driver partners must undergo Uber’s rigorous screening process and every ride is covered by our $1 million commercial liability insurance policy. After every trip, riders and drivers rate one another on a scale of one to five stars to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users.
