Drivers and delivery people like you are moving what matters during this challenging time—by bringing food to those staying at home or providing rides to those who still need to move around. Words aren’t enough to express our gratitude for the work you do for your community, so we’re building new ways to support you during this time.
Today, we’re announcing the launch of COVID-19 Resources, your in-app hub to get the latest information and support during this unprecedented time. The hub will be available globally, and include the latest safety tips, help you apply for financial relief from your local government if you’re eligible, and link to additional earning opportunities. To find the hub, open the latest version of the Driver app and tap your profile photo on the top-left corner of your map, then tap COVID-19.
As the situation evolves, so will our response. Be sure to check back here or COVID-19 Resources in the latest version of the Driver app for the updates.
What drivers and delivery people need to know
Tips to help you stay safe

Request protective supplies
We are working to provide drivers and delivery people in highly affected areas with crucial health supplies like masks, disinfectants, and gloves to deliver food. Supplies are limited and drivers and delivery people will receive more information via COVID-19 Resources in the Driver app about how to request these supplies.
Apply for government relief
We’re committed to making it as easy as possible for you to learn about and access government relief benefits you may be eligible for. We’re working to gather up-to-date information from government agencies to guide you through the process, and we’ll let you know as soon as we have more updates via COVID-19 Resources in the Driver app.
No-contact deliveries
In an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 and support the well-being of delivery people and their customers, we have launched “leave at door” deliveries for a contact-free dropoff experience. Updated dropoff information will appear in the delivery notes of the Driver app for every “leave at door” delivery.
Greenlight Hubs are closed until further notice
To protect the community, as well as the Uber customer support experts who help them every day, we are temporarily closing all Greenlight Hubs in the US and Canada until further notice. We are dedicated to supporting your needs—you can still contact us 24/7 by using Uber in-app phone support.
More ways to earn by helping your community
With fewer people moving around, we know you’re likely earning less driving. That’s why we’re introducing the Work Hub, a new way to help you find other work opportunities, whether with Uber or another company. Visit Work Hub in the Driver app to find new options.
Protecting your Uber Pro and Uber Eats Pro status
The last thing you need to worry about is your Pro status. We’re extending your Uber Pro and Uber Eats Pro status so you will continue to have access to your rewards. See below for more details.
