How to claim your trip
- Tap the menu in the top left of the Uber app and select ‘Wallet’.
- Select ‘Add Promo Code’ at the bottom.
- Add the code UBERBE2021.
- Navigate to the rides home screen and enter the pick-up/drop-off location. Remember, the trip must start or end at one of the vaccination centres listed above.
- Confirm your trip.
Things to know
- The promo code will give you a 25% discount on maximum 2 trips to the mass-vaccination centres as listed above. Uber will pay the 25% discount up to €6,25. When a trip costs more than €25, you will be liable for the full remaining balance of that ride. The promotion will be visible in the upfront price shown.
- Trips must start or end at one of the listed mass vaccination centres.
- You will be able to claim your trip between March 31st and September 30th, 2021.
- The promo codes will cease working at 23.55 on September 30th 2021.

Tips for safe riding
We are especially thankful to drivers whose efforts are essential to keeping the country moving during this challenging time. We ask that you please keep your driver’s wellbeing in mind by:
- Wearing a face mask at all times during your trip.
- Washing your hands (or using hand sanitiser) before entering the vehicle.
- Giving your driver space by sitting in the back seat.
- Covering your mouth or nose if you cough or sneeze (please take any used tissues with you).
- Opening the window to improve ventilation.
Drivers have been given the same reminders to ensure trips with Uber are as safe as possible. Uber is also providing drivers with free hygiene kits, which include face coverings and hand sanitisers. Drivers are asked to disinfect their cars between trips, paying special attention to frequently touched areas like car door handles and seat belts.

Yes, you can order maximum 2 discounted trips from and to a vaccine centre.
Can I use the promotion code together with any other promotions?
- No, only one promotion can be used per trip.
- If you have multiple promotions on your account, you can choose the promotions that apply.
Are any trips not included?
Please note the Uber promotion does not apply to cancellation fees or tips. It also does not apply to trips that do not start or end at one of the listed mass vaccination centres. You will see the promotion applying before you request the trip. If you don’t see this, make sure the trip is starting at or ending at one of the vaccination hubs listed above.
How do driver earnings work when this promotion is applied?
The discount is fully funded by Uber and partner drivers receive the normal UberX rate for the services they offer.
What happens if I need to request a refund for my trip?
If you need to request a refund for your trip for any reason, you can follow our standard in-app help refund process.

Is it safe for me to take a trip using Uber during the COVID-19 crisis?
The safety and wellbeing of everyone who uses Uber is always our priority. To help limit the spread of COVID-19, please follow government guidance. We are continuously monitoring guidance and regulations relating to COVID‑19 and are taking steps to help keep our communities safe. We ask that you please keep your driver’s wellbeing in mind by:

Uber is also providing drivers with free PPE kits which include hand sanitisers and face coverings, and are asking drivers to disinfect their cars between trips, paying special attention to areas where riders sit and touch, like the car door, handle, seat belt, and seat.
