Weekly Update
Strong Earnings Over the Weekend!
Winter solstice did very little to keep Queenslanders indoors! It’s still early days after the price cut but we have seen healthy signs with trips per hour and fares per hour both increasing! This doesn’t take into account the extra earning made from our minimum hour guarantee (see below)
Expect a busy week ahead with university exams finishing and plenty of events around Brisbane. Stay tuned for details later in the week.
QLD ad campaign
City Impact
In a first for Uber Australia, we have launched a media campaign to spread the Uber message. We’re letting Queenslanders know that Uber is here to stay and clearing up a few misunderstandings.
We’re doing our best to spread the word on the positive impact Uber is having on Queensland. Safe, reliable and affordable. Feel proud to be apart of this innovation.

Be sure to share this positive message with as many as you can!
Grow your business
Help us help you as we grow the number of riders in Queensland! Spread the Uber love and earn $5 cash for every new rider you get to try Uber. To get cards printed you can send this document to any printing company (Vista Print can do them for 5 cents per card!)
Remember: use your driver referral code for $5 cash incentive or rider referral code for $25 ride credit.
NOTE: Credit earned using your rider referral code is for personal use on Uber trips you take. It is not convertible to payment.
In addition to people you meet day to day, here are some other ideas for sharing your card/code:
- Coffee shops and restaurants
- Bars and night clubs
- Sporting / community clubs
- Retail stores
Weekly Five Star Partner Tip
“I drive with the intention of leaving everyone who gets in my car happier than when they got in. If someone’s having a bad day, sympathise and cheer them up, if they’re in party mode already, turn up the volume!” – Calum (4.86)
Being understanding of the needs of others always goes a long way.
