Mystery Fringe Shows On Demand

More than 1000 events are happening across Adelaide for the Fringe Festival. We very much doubt you’ll have time to watch them all. If you’re anything like us, you’re having a hard time working out where to begin! Together with BankSA’s Talk Fringe team, we’ve scoured the guide and chosen the best Fringe shows, and we’re taking you, for FREE. Simply, enter the promo code TALKFRINGE to unlock the free FRINGE option inside the Uber app. Request the FRINGE vehicle between 6:00pm – 9:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week and next (19-28 Feb). If you’re lucky, with the tap of a button you could be whisked away to one of the hottest shows in town.

How many people can I bring with me?

You get to bring 1 lucky person with you. Request the FRINGE car with your friend with you so we can ensure the highest number of people get to experience this each night.

What do I do once I get out of the car?

Your driver will give you 2 x tickets and Uber and BankSA swag. Head straight into the venue or grab a drink if you’ve got time before the show starts.

Is it free?

Absolutely. You won’t be charged for the ride to the venue or the performance.

If you’re signing up to Uber for the first time you may notice a $1 pre-authorisation charge on your account. Rest assured this is only used to verify that your credit card is real and this never actually removes any funds from your account. This charge ‘hold’ will be reversed as soon as verification has been made.

How do I get home?

This is a one-way trip only to the mystery destination. Simply book a regular UberBLACK to get home! If you’re travelling with a new Uber user you can sign them up with your personal code to earn FREE Uber credit.

Where can I request the Fringe car from?

The Fringe car will be available to users requesting in the CBD, North Adelaide, Norwood, Prospect, Hindmarsh, Brompton, Richmond, Mile End, Unley, Hyde Park, Dulwich and adjoining suburbs.

Can I do this more than once?

You can only book the Fringe car once, but you’re more than welcome to travel with another friend who’s booked the experience.

Thursday to Saturday (19 – 21 Feb) between 6:00pm – 9:00pm Thursday to Saturday (26 – 28 Feb) between 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Demand for mystery Fringe experiences will be high and availability limited. It may take multiple tries to successfully request a mystery show on demand, so if you’re not successful one night, try again another. As we drop people off at shows, cars will become available again in app to request. Good luck!
