Saturday is the 100th anniversary of ANZAC day. A very important day for Australians and will also be INCREDIBLY busy on Uber.
Dawn Service & Parades (Road Closures)
4:28am Dawn Service commences at the Shrine of Remembrance
9:30am ANZAC Day Parade begins at the corner of George and Elizabeth Streets and will make its way around the CBD
More than 10,000 Veterans, Serving personnel, Descendants of Veterans and Brisbanites will attend these events
This is a great opportunity to show off your 5-Star service and help people get around for this important event
Expect ALL Saturday to be super busy!! Morning and Evening
3:30am – 6:30am: Rides to and from the Dawn Service
8:30am – 11am: Rides to and from the Parade
12noon onwards: Two Up and other ANZAC Day celebrations
6:30 – 10pm: Concert at River Stage
8pm – 10pm: Broncos play at Suncorp Stadium
