Uber continues from strength to strength on the Gold Coast. One year ago, there were no Ubers on the Gold Coast. Now, Uber is the preferred transportation of hundreds of thousands of Queenslanders. It wouldn’t be possible without the great service you provide to every Rider on every trip.

Investing in more Riders

To keep you even busier, Uber has now made a huge commitment by increasing rider referrals from $10 to $25. This means every time a rider refers a friend using their referral code both get a free ride up to $25!

Referral codes are very easy to share on social media and riders love to share, especially after a 5-Star Uber experience!

You can expect to complete more trips every hour you are online.

FAST FACT: Driver Earnings

Ubering (yes, it’s now a verb!) up and down the coast has become part of daily life for many Queenslanders. Below is a snapshot from last weekend:

–More than half of all partners made over $360 across the weekend, with some seriously money hungry partners making over $1,000!
– Top partners made over $45 per hour in fares across all Friday and Saturday peak periods

Incentive update

The $5 per trip incentive on the Gold Coast will be reduced to $2 per trip for non-surge trips. This change will be in effect Monday 4 May at midnight.
