Uber Update
Uber continues from strength to strength in Brisbane. A little more than a year ago, there were no Ubers in Brisbane. Now, Uber is the preferred transportation of hundreds of thousands of Queenslanders with thousands more coming onboard every week. It wouldn’t be possible without the great service you provide to every Rider on every trip.
Investing in more Riders
To keep you even busier, Uber has now made a huge commitment by increasing rider referrals from $10 to $25. This means every time a rider refers a friend using their referral code both get a free ride up to $25!
Referral codes are very easy to share on social media and riders love to share, especially after a 5-Star Uber experience!
You can expect to complete more trips every hour you are online.
FAST FACT: Driver Earnings
Riding on Uber has become part of daily life for many Queenslanders. Below is a snapshot from last weekend:
– Partners made over $40 per hour in fares across all Friday and Saturday peak periods
-Hundreds of partners made $500 or more in fares over the weekend, with top partners making over $800 in fares
Incentive update
As Uber gets busier and busier, very few Partners have been relying on the guaranteed minimums that have been in place. Top partners are consistently earning more than the guaranteed minimums each week.
As of midnight 4 May (tonight) these minimums will no longer be in effect.
A $40 minimum guarantee on Saturday night will remain. REMEMBER Saturday night is by far the busiest time of the week!
Saturday 10pm – Sunday 4am
Conditions:
- Accept 90% of all requests
- Complete at least 1 trip per hour. This is easy to achieve if you stay close to the city
This change will be in effect from Monday 4 May at midnight
