Teachers & Uber – Supporting Your Local Community

As summer holidays get closer, teachers are looking forward to enjoying their well-deserved time off, but many are also looking for some extra spending money. Teachers are among the most dedicated, passionate and hardworking professionals – a few of the qualities that make the best Uber driver-partners – and we’re especially proud to help teachers earn money outside the classroom.

To recognise and celebrate their contribution, starting today, every teacher who starts driving on Uber in Queensland will receive an extra $100 plus another $100 for a local community project when they complete their tenth trip before February 1st, 2016.

Current teachers on the Uber platform will receive an extra $100 plus another $100 for a local community project when they complete 30 trips between December 1st, 2015, and February 1st, 2016.

Teachers must be a registered teacher with their State or Territory teaching authority.

Any new teacher completing their tenth trip after 1 December 2015 is eligible and before 1 February, 2016, is eligible. Promotion ends 1 February, 2016.
