HUGE NEW YEARS EVE INCENTIVE
New Years Eve will be the BIGGEST night of the year on Uber, and so we’re matching that with the biggest incentives of the year! What you can look forward to is:
Guaranteed average $35 in gross fares per hour: 4pm-8pm*
*To qualify, drive for 4 hours, accept 90% of requests & be within 7KMs of the GC metro area
** Guaranteed average $60 in gross fares per hour: 12am-4am* **

Note that in the lead-up to NYE we will not be running any incentives on Saturday Dec 27th. However, the $5 per trip incentive will remain in place until further notice.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON NYE?
New Year’s Eve is huge on Uber. Below is a graph of trips in Sydney last year leading up to NYE. What they saw:
– 4pm-8pm: From the early afternoon, the city is abuzz. This culminates in this PEAK drop-off time.
– 8pm-12am: This may be a quieter period which you could spend with friends or family to refresh before the late night rush.
– Midnight – 4am: This is the BUSIEST time of the year to drive. Expect to be constantly on-trip and a huge amount of very high surge.

Remember, driver ratings are incredibly important! Ensure:
– You are stocked up on bottled water
– You have fresh mints or chocolates
