Jetty Road, Glenelg, is closed for roadworks May 15 to mid-June

Jetty Road, Glenelg, will be closed for roadworks from Monday, May 15 through to some time in June. However, it will be business as usual for our restaurant partners in the area! They’ll still be open and taking orders as normal. We have more than 10 restaurants in the area.

We expect it to be extra busy in Glenelg during this time; people who would normally dine in at these restaurants will know that the area is going to be busy and they might order UberEATS instead. This is good for us as there will be more deliveries happening in the area. It’s also good for the restaurants. While they may see fewer people in their restaurants, we’ll still be helping to connect them with their regular customers (and new customers) in the area. This will help keep their kitchens busy!

The works will occur on Jetty Road, between Brighton Road and Moseley Square, Glenelg and are expected to be completed by Friday 9 June 2017, weather permitting. While access is restricted for motorists and other vehicles, Jetty road will remain open to pedestrians.
