Huge Week
This has been the biggest week to date on Uber! We’ve seen thousands of trips EACH DAY! And that’s only the week days! We’ve seen a huge number of trips during the morning commute (6-10am) and great rider uptake in the weekday evenings!
This weekend is going to be HUGE, especially with HALLOWEEN events on Friday!
Many Riders will be dressed up and you should join in on the fun, but please remember to avoid having anything covering your face so Riders can identify you from your profile picture.
We are expecting to see incredible Driver earnings this weekend.
How to Prepare? Just remember the basics
- A Clean Car
- Offer a refreshment to the rider. With the Queensland heat, Riders are appreciating the special touch and are rating highly for it.
- Air Con
- And Great chat!
Summer Weekends
As summer begins, the corporate festive season kicks off. This means FRIDAY NIGHTS are getting much bigger. Occasionally they will be BIGGER than Saturdays!!
They start early. Get on the road by 4pm to begin receiving trips!
Referral Race is ON!
Drivers have been referring their friends and are starting to earn extra money!! There’s 1 month left before the $2,500 is given away to the top Driver referral, so perfect time to have a friend attend a Drop-in Session and get the Driver Authorisation!

G20 is the talk of the town. We will be sending out a full list of information you need to know next week.
It will be an incredible busy time for Brisbane, with 1000s of travellers in town. Many of these will be from one of the 200+ cities where Uber operates and will be looking for rides!!

Remember we have added extra drop-in sessions for the next week at Toowong Bowls, 9 Heroes Ave, Taringa:
Monday: 4pm-7pm
Wednesday: 4pm – 7pm
Friday: 9am – 12noon
Saturday: 9am – 12noon
The Uber Team will NOT be in attendance at Toowong Bowls outside of these hours. Please do NOT call the Toowong Bowls Club as the staff are unable to answer your questions and have brought to our attention at the volume of out of hour calls and drop-ins.
