生活在上海这座城市的人，可以感受到这里可能拥有全中国最好的公共交通系统——却不一定知道作为拥有世界第二大交通网络体系的城市，上海的地铁仅在去年就服务了25亿多人。上海14条地铁线覆盖了340英里的城市面积，在这里，Uber的使命是：地铁之后，Uber带你去下一个想去的地方。

Uber与上海地铁

      其实在许多城市（Uber在全球340多个城市运营），我们把Uber看作一种帮助城市居民解决最后一公里的服务。世界上大多数人依靠公共交通，例如上海的地铁来帮助他们从A地去往B地。但是从地铁站出来，到达最终目的地，即使地铁发达如斯的上海也很难把地铁开到你的家门口或者办公楼，这正是Uber可以帮助解决的难题。

通过不断拓展我们在城市的服务，我们能够为更多的乘客提供真正的Uber式体验。这个体验意味着能够用一种经济与可靠的方式去任何想去的地方。

 数据证明我们的很大一部分乘客曾经在上个月有过从地铁站出发或达到地铁站的行程。我们在10月1日到15日采样发现超过三分之一的行程，都距离地铁站200米以内。

随着我们服务的行程数量在去年一年以指数级增长，能够准时乘上地铁的乘客数量也不断加大。

我们的期望是什么？

在这里，在Uber，我们为在上海不断扩大范围的地铁服务而感到非常兴奋。随着12、13号线投入运转，甚至更多人将有机会享用上海地铁不可思议的服务。

但是当你走出地铁后，我们希望你知道Uber是那个经济、可靠又高效的服务，随时准备带你去下一个想去的地方。

Home to the world’s second largest transportation network, Shanghai’s metro line has served more than 2.5 billion people in the last year alone. With 14 lines in operation, it provides nearly 340 miles of coverage throughout the city. We wanted to celebrate the extension of Metro Lines 12 and 13 this year by talking about how Uber hopes to work hand in hand with public transportation in Shanghai.

How do we work with the Shanghai Metro?

In many cities, we see Uber as a service that helps residents of a city go the last mile. The majority of the world relies on public transport like the Shanghai metro to help them go from A to B. But there’s usually a gap in helping people go from the metro stop to their final destination and we hope Uber can help to fill that hole in Shanghai.

By continuing to expand our service throughout the city, we’ve been able to provide more riders with ever with the Uber experience they truly deserve. This experience means being able to get to where you need to go in an affordable and reliable way, much like the experience of the Metro.

In fact – it turns out that a large portion of our riders themselves have been taking trips to and from the metro station over the last month.  

More than 1 in 3 trips we sampled between went near a metro stop during October 1st and October 15th.

While the amount of trips we have done has grown exponentially over the past year, so too have the number of people that can now catch the line in time.

What Are We Looking Forward To?

Here at Uber, we are hugely excited for the continued expansion of the metro service in Shanghai. As lines 12 and 13 become further operational, even more people will have the chance to take the incredible service that is the Shanghai Metro.

But when you do get off the line, we hope you know that Uber is the affordable, reliable and efficient service ready to take you to wherever you need to go next.
