南京，你的优步即将抵达 – Nanjing, Your Uber is Arriving Now

 

六朝古都南京，有着800万人口，有着全中国都数一数二的交通网络，现在，它又有了优步 。在改善居民的出行条件上，南京有着引以为傲的成绩。南京的地铁系统一直是中国东海岸交通的重要枢纽，能无缝衔接超过200万人的日常出行。

我们很荣幸地宣布：从本周开始，为了扩大出行机会，人民优步+和高级轿车服务在南京正式上线。在这份简报里，我们将回顾南京的人们是如何使用优步的，也会告诉你一些新产品上线后你一定会期待的惊喜。

去南京的乘客，都是从哪里来的呢？

有了优步，更多的外地乘客有了更好的游览体验南京的方式。比如上周，在南京，20%的优步乘客都不是本市居民。超过1万3千名外国友人已经坐在优步车里饱览了南京的风景名胜。

在假期当中，超过2万7千人回到南京市。我们看到了这当中有接近5000人是从他们在上海、杭州或者苏州的家里来南京旅游的。非常巧合的是，这三座城市也都有优步！随着优步在中国的发展，我们期待越来越多的人能够在南京城内各地游览。

南京的优步乘客都会去哪儿？

在过去的几个月里，我们在南京逐步试点了我们的新产品，行程足迹几乎遍及了这个城市的每一寸土地。超过3千人已经通过优步抵达南京大屠杀纪念馆，早些时候，也有逾千名游客通过优步前去参观了像玄武湖、中山陵、紫金山这样的景区。几个月里，南京的优步用户使用我们的服务，往返于地铁站和他们的目的地之间，产生了超过2万3千次的行程。通过支持现有的公共交通基本设施，我们可以为南京人提供独到的终端交通网络，给他们未曾有过的交通机会。

Home to more than 8 million people and one of the best transportation networks China has to offer, Nanjing is now home to Uber as well. Nanjing has a proud history of supporting the development of transportation opportunities for its citizens. The Nanjing metro has long been a staple of the eastern coast of China and allowed for the seamless transportation of more than 2 million people every day!

We are proud to announce that starting this week – we are officially doing our part to expand transportation opportunities in Nanjing by launching our People’s Uber and Black Car service. In this post, we’ll take a look at how people have been using Uber in Nanjing in the meanwhile and what you have to look forward to with Uber’s launch as a Nanjing local.

Where do riders to Nanjing come from?

With Uber, more riders from out of town have a better way to get around and experience Nanjing. Just last week, 20% of people who used Uber in Nanjing weren’t from the city. More than 13,000 people coming from overseas have already experienced the sights and sounds of Nanjing in an Uber!

During the holiday break, more than 27,000 people came back to the city of Nanjing. We saw that nearly 5,000 of these riders were traveling away to Nanjing from their home cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. Coincidentally, Uber is available in all three of those cities! As Uber grows inside of China, we expect that more people will be enabled to travel throughout Nanjing

 

Where do Nanjing riders go in an Uber?

In the past couple months that we have been slowly dipping our feet into Nanjing, trips have touched nearly every square mile of the city. More than 3,000 people have already been dropped off at the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall by an Uber. Other areas where thousands have already been via Uber include the Xuanwu Lake, Sun Yatsen Mausoleum, and the Purple Mountain. The past couple months have also seen Uber users take more than 23,000 trips to and from the metro lines to their destination. By supporting the existing public transportation infrastructure, we’re able to provide a unique layer on-top for the people of Nanjing and provide them with opportunities they may not have had before.

Everywhere that Uber goes, we hope to help celebrate cities. We want to help show off the city you live in, it’s history and why you’re proud to live there. In Nanjing, we want to be a small part of a vibrant community that has a lot to talk about, a lot to see, and a lot to experience.
