uberPOOL这个全球叫车软件行业里的“小鲜肉”诞生于一年多以前的旧金山，从呱呱坠地的第一天起就承载着实现Uber “让每一个人随时随地可以享受可靠、经济的出行方式”这一使命，第一次使两人甚至多人拼车合乘成为一键即可实现的现实。100天前，uberPOOL作为真正的“拼车”，降临中国成都，起了个中文名字叫“人民优步+”，并从此开始了在中国的新生和健康成长。一起来看看这个小家伙长得什么样，做了哪些事？
拼车高手“人民优步+”
“人民优步+” （uberPOOL）是Uber开创的多人顺路拼车合乘功能。用户首先输入目的地，然后发出乘车请求，由Uber平台的算法自动对同一时间在相同相近路线上的两个叫车需求进行即时、就近的匹配，并建议最优行驶路线，帮助合乘服务提供司机顺路先后搭载两位拼车人，两程并作一程，拼乘同一辆车，并分摊出行成本。在成都不同的区域和时段，两位拼车人各自可以节省高达20-50%的车费，而且司机的效率和收入都可以得到有效提高。
从第一次“拼见熊猫”活动开始向成都用户介绍拼车合乘的理念、好处和使用方法，“人民优步+”这种一键双人/多人拼车的新形式受到了乐于接受新事物、新体验的成都人的喜爱。拼车出行很快成为一种时髦又环保的新生活方式的重要部分。
Uber平台上的数据显示——在这100天里，成都人民用“人民优步+”发起并完成的拼车请求接近360万次，相当于平均每天有3.6万拼车请求。拼车合乘不仅进一步提高车辆和司机的效率，两位顺路拼车的乘客更可以通过分摊出行成本，节省开销。数据表明，过去100天，成都人完成的拼车行程平均每程为单个用户节省6.8元人民币。别小看了这6.8元，如果以每天拼两次车计算，每程平均节省6.8元，100天后钱包里省下来的钱可以买一部小米手机或者一张飞到香港的机票！
“人民优步+”年龄小作用大，还是个环保小能手
当越来越多的人选择拼车合乘时，“人民优步+”可以帮助城市实现一个愿望——以更少的车承载更多的人，使城市交通低碳可持续发展；也可以帮助更多的人打消对拥有汽车的依赖，因为拼车出行可以更方便，更经济，更高效，也更环保。
“人民优步+”在成都仅试行100天，成都人支持并选择拼车合乘的行动提高了单个车辆的利用率，两程并一程，累计节省的行驶里程将近480万公里——相当于绕地球赤道120圈！累计为成都市减少CO2排放超过885吨。
想象一下，当路上车辆减少三分之一甚至一半，堵在路上浪费的时间更少了，从A到B更快速了，空气更清洁了，同时仍然可以方便、快捷、经济的出行。这对于提高城市整体运转效率，缩小城乡差距，促进经济平衡发展尤为重要。此外，城市里的停车场仿佛永远不够用，有车的人经常发现，出门停车费时费力又费钱，遇到急事恨不得弃车而去。减少上路车辆意味着有一天我们不再需要新增停车场，而是可以将那些空地变成篮球场，草坪，社区中心等等给人们生活带来美好的设施。
“人民优步+”拼车缩小世界，温暖城市

One year ago, uberPOOL hit the road in San Francisco. Since then, it’s traveled across the Pacific to come to Chengdu as part of our mission to bring reliable, convenient, and affordable transportation to everyone, everywhere. 100 days ago, we launched UberPOOL in Chengdu and gave it the Chinese name – “人民优步+” or “People’s Uber Plus”. Let’s take a look at what our first 100 days of POOL looked like in Chengdu.
What is People’s Uber+
People’s Uber+ is a new feature that allows for two riders to share a ride if they are going in the same direction. When you request, our technology tries to match you with another rider going to the same way. Depending on time period and location, you could save anywhere from 20-50% off the original solo fare in Chengdu, and you know what you are going to pay for even before you start the trip.

Since the first “Share a ride with ‘Panda’” campaign to introduce the concept of carpooling and its benefits, “People’s Uber+” has become popular among Chengdu locals. It’s become an integral part of the aspirational and green lifestyle adhered to by Chengdu residents.
Our data show that “People’s Uber+” is so popular that in the last 100 days alone, there were nearly 3.6 million requests made, average to almost 36,000 requests per day in Chengdu.
This not only decreased the amount of time drivers spent waiting for a ride but helped to split the cost of a ride for riders. On average, riders have saved 6.8 RMB per trip. As a one time save, it’s a small amount. But over the course of a 100 days, a commuter could save enough money to buy a ticket to Hong Kong or a new GoPro set!
A Small Product with Big Impact
As more people are choosing to share a ride, “People’s Uber+” can help our cities move more people with fewer cars. It can help to reduce carbon emissions and ease the load on public transportation around China. We hope that one day, you’ll share a ride and find that it can be cleaner, more convenient, and more affordable than owning your own car as many others already have.
When Chengdu residents chose to share their car over the past 100 days, they saved nearly 4.8 million kilometres, nearly 120 times around the earth! Accumulative reduction of CO2 emission adds up to over 885 tons.
Now imagine what happens when we take a third of all cars off the road. Imagine a Chengdu where we don’t have to worry how long it’s going to take for us to get parking since cars are being used to transport us, not sitting idle in unused lots. Imagine a Chengdu where our cities have fewer cars on the road and become less congested. Imagine a Chengdu with cleaner air in our cities for us to walk and in parks for our children to play in.
Making our Cities a Smaller and Friendlier Place to Live
Even large cities can be smaller when people are drawn closer. When you do choose to carpool, saying “Hello”, or giving a smile to the other rider can be the icebreaker. And don’t be surprised if he/she is from other cities. Users can ride with Uber in 340 cities around the world and take uberPOOL in 12 cities.
During the past two weeks of holiday, the Chinese users who completed the highest number of trips abroad was from Chengdu! When Uber enables “transportation like running water, everywhere for everyone” through technology, the world naturally gets smaller.
