Uber Eats x TikTok Launch Sweepstakes Official Rules

Uber Technologies, Inc. (“Uber”) is sponsoring the Uber Eats x TikTok Launch Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”).  The Sweepstakes is subject to these official rules (the “Official Rules”), and by participating, you (“Entrant”) agree to be bound by them and the decisions of Uber, which are final and binding in all respects. This Sweepstakes is no way sponsored or administered by, or associated with TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC (“TikTok”), or any of its affiliated companies.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents residing within Uber’s California, New York, and Florida service market areas who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.  Employees, officers and representatives, and the immediate family members of such employees, officers and representatives (i.e., parent, spouse, siblings, children, grandparents, step parents, step children and step siblings, and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household, whether or not related) of Uber or any of their affiliated companies, parent companies, subsidiaries, participating promotional partners, advertising and promotion agencies, webmasters and any company involved in the creation, design, execution, production, or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to enter. Additionally, individuals who are employed by any local, state or federal government office or agency, elected officials and individuals listed on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local rules, laws, and regulations.  

2. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 8am ET on 7.17.26 and ends at 12am ET on 7.19.26  (the “Sweepstakes Period”).  Uber’ computer is the official timekeeping device for entry in the Sweepstakes.

3. How To Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, scan the QR code displayed on posters throughout LA, NY and Miami, then using your TikTok account, locate the Sweepstakes post on @ubereats official TikTok account, and:

1. Follow @ubereats on TikTok and
2. Comment on the post with #UberEatsSweepstakes

Limit one (1) entry per person and/or per TikTok account throughout the Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes may only be entered in compliance with these Official Rules. To enter the Sweepstakes, an TikTok account is required, and can be obtained at no cost at TikTok.com or downloading the TikTok app from the applicable app store. Data and usage rates may apply. All eligible entries must meet the “Entry Requirements” described below and otherwise comply with these Official Rules. No purchase necessary to enter or win. 

4. Entry Requirements: Entries received in excess of this stated limitation will be void. Each entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the natural person assigned to the TikTok account associated with the entry. All entries discovered to have been made by the same individual using multiple accounts will be disqualified. By submitting an entry into the Sweepstakes as instructed in these Official Rules, you represent and warrant that the entry is original, according to Uber’ Content Policy found at: https://uber.com/terms/, and that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, on the date of entry. Ineligible entries include entries that fail to comply with these Official Rules, including those that are, in whole or in part, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, hateful, embarrassing to another person or entity, deceptive, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, contain racial slurs, or contain explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of, sexual acts, that are not in keeping with Uber’ reputation and image or are not within the spirit of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Uber in its sole discretion. Entries must also adhere to TikTok’s Terms of Service found at: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/terms-of-service/en, and TikTok’s Platform Policy found at: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/terms-of-service/en. 

All entries must be received by no later than the end of the Sweepstakes Period. When submitting an entry, Entrant is required to provide complete and truthful information.  Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, false, lost, late or misdirected, deceptive or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes at Uber’ sole and absolute discretion. Entries submitted by persons who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void. The use of any scripts, computer programs, robotic repetitive, macro, automatic, programmed or similar automated entry methods or agents to submit entries will void all entries submitted by that person or that person’s agents. Uber will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements. All entries submitted in compliance with these Official Rules and not disqualified or void are considered “Eligible Entries.”  All entries are the property of Uber and will not be acknowledged or returned.

5.  Prize: Ten (10) Winners (as defined below) will each receive the following prize: 

$500 in Uber Credits provided via a Voucher, redeemable on both Uber and Uber Eats. Voucher expires July 19th 2027, additional Voucher Terms and conditions apply and shall be provided upon voucher distribution. Approximate retail value is $500

The aggregate retail value of all the Prizes is $5,000.00

ONLY ELEMENTS OF THE PRIZES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE BEING AWARDED TO THE WINNER. Uber is not responsible for the products or services provided by other companies. If for any reason the Prize is unavailable, Uber reserves the right to modify the Sweepstakes in its sole discretion and award a substitute prize, or portion of prize, of comparable or greater value as set forth in these Official Rules. No substitution, transfer, assignment or cash equivalent of the Prize, or any portion thereof, is permitted by the Winners.  Uber and the Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or obligation to a Winner who is unable or unavailable to, or who does not for any reason, accept or utilize a Prize or any portion thereof. Winners agree to comply with any additional terms and conditions applicable to the Prize.  The Prize is provided “as is”; Entrants acknowledge that Uber and the Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prize, including any implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose.  Any prizes pictured in advertising and other Sweepstakes materials are for illustrative purposes only. Uber or their designee may fulfill the Prize to the Winner, and Uber may share your information with a third party for Prize fulfillment purposes.

6.  Winner Selection and Notification: Ten (10) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing by Uber from all Eligible Entries on or about July 17, 2026 Limit of one (1) prize per potential winner for the entire Sweepstakes Period. The potential winner will be notified via direct message to the TikTok account name associated with each potential winner. Entrants should ensure that their TikTok settings enable them to receive direct messages from Uber in the event they are selected as a potential winner. If you receive TikTok posts or direct messages via your wireless mobile device (which may only be available via participating wireless carriers), standard mobile data usage rates, airtime and carrier charges will apply. Potential winners will be required to confirm his/her email address and/or phone number. Details will follow via email. ALL ENTRANTS ARE ADVISED TO MONITOR THEIR TIKTOK ACCOUNT ON THE DRAWING DATE(S) AND REGULARLY THEREAFTER IN ORDER TO RECEIVE NOTICES TIMELY. UBER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY POTENTIAL WINNER’S FAILURE TO RESPOND WITHIN THE REQUISITE TIMEFRAME.

Uber shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason.  If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted and/or fails to respond to confirm his/her email address within twenty-four (24) hours (or such other time specified by Uber) from when the initial notification email is sent, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner forfeits the Prize, and an alternate potential winner will be selected. Uber, in its sole discretion and time permitting, will attempt to contact up to three (3) potential winners of a prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such potential prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected.  The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Additionally, Uber and the Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right to make a public announcement, announcing the Winners on either the Uber website, through the Uber App, or in any manner (including, without limitation, social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)), which they deem appropriate.

8.  Liberación de responsabilidad e indemnización:  EL PREMIO SE OFRECE Y PROPORCIONA “TAL CUAL” SIN NINGUNA GARANTÍA U OFERTA POR PARTE DE UBER NI DE NINGUNA ENTIDAD RELACIONADA CON EL SORTEO, YA SEA DE MANERA EXPRESA O IMPLÍCITA.  EN NINGÚN CASO UBER NI NINGUNA ENTIDAD RELACIONADA CON EL SORTEO SERÁ RESPONSABLE ANTE EL PARTICIPANTE POR DAÑOS DIRECTOS, ESPECIALES, INCIDENTALES, EJEMPLARES, PUNITIVOS O CONSECUENTES (INCLUYENDO PÉRDIDA DE USO, DATOS, NEGOCIO O GANANCIAS) QUE SURJAN DE O ESTÉN RELACIONADOS CON LA PARTICIPACIÓN DEL PARTICIPANTE EN EL SORTEO, YA SEA QUE DICHA RESPONSABILIDAD SURJA DE UNA RECLAMACIÓN BASADA EN CONTRATO, GARANTÍA, AGRAVIO (INCLUYENDO NEGLIGENCIA), RESPONSABILIDAD OBJETIVA O DE OTRA MANERA, Y HAYA O NO UBER Y/O OTRAS ENTIDADES RELACIONADAS CON EL SORTEO SIDO ADVERTIDAS DE LA POSIBILIDAD DE DICHA PÉRDIDA O DAÑO.

EN ALGUNAS JURISDICCIONES NO SE PERMITE LIMITAR O EXCLUIR LA RESPONSABILIDAD POR DAÑOS INCIDENTALES O CONSECUENTES, POR LO QUE LA LIMITACIÓN O EXCLUSIÓN ANTERIOR PODRÍA NO APLICARTE.

By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless, Uber  and TikTok from any and all liability, for any claims, damages, injuries or losses of any kind, and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding arising out of, in connection with, or relating to, (i) participation in the Sweepstakes, (ii) without limitation, death, or property damage, arising directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the Prize, including any travel/activity related thereto, (iii) defamation, violation of publicity rights, or invasion of privacy in connection with the Sweepstakes or acceptance and use or the Prize, and (iv) copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or any other intellectual property-related cause of action arising from or related to the Sweepstakes, the Prize, or Uber’ advertising and marketing related to the Sweepstakes, Entrants or the Winners, in all cases, including but not limited to:  (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone, or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable entries or prize notifications; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property (including to any computer or mobile device systems resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with the Sweepstakes), which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize (including, without limitation, any travel or Uber trips or rides taken by Entrant in connection with using the Prize).  Entrant assumes all liability for an injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in the Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, receipt, or use of the Prize or any Prize component.  Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, Uber and/or the Sweepstakes Entities’ liability will be limited to the value of the Prize, and in no event shall the Sweepstakes Entities be liable for attorney’s fees.

Uber y las Entidades del Sorteo no asumen ninguna responsabilidad por errores tipográficos u otros errores en la impresión de la oferta, la administración del Sorteo, errores en el procesamiento de participaciones, identificación de las personas ganadoras, en el anuncio del Premio y de las personas ganadoras, la entrega del Premio, cualquier problema o falla técnica de cualquier red o línea telefónica, sistemas informáticos, sistemas en línea, servidores o proveedores, equipos de cómputo, software, fallas de cualquier correo electrónico o de los participantes debido a problemas técnicos o congestión de tráfico en Internet o en cualquier sitio web, incluido Uber.com, o cualquier combinación de estos, incluyendo, sin limitación, cualquier lesión o daño al sistema/software de cómputo de la persona participante o de cualquier otra persona relacionado o resultante de la participación, carga o descarga de materiales en el Sorteo.  El uso de cualquier dispositivo para automatizar o alterar el registro está prohibido y cualquier participación recibida por dichos medios será nula. Uber se reserva el derecho, a su entera discreción, de descalificar a cualquier persona que sospeche o determine que (i) ha manipulado el proceso de registro o el funcionamiento del Sorteo; (ii) actúe de manera disruptiva, o con la intención de molestar, abusar, amenazar o acosar a cualquier otra persona; (iii) muestre un comportamiento que pueda desacreditar a dicha persona ganadora, a Uber o a las Entidades del Sorteo; (iv) haya proporcionado información inexacta en cualquier documento legal presentado en relación con el Sorteo; o (v) actúe en violación de estas Reglas Oficiales. 9.  Concesión de derechos.  Excepto donde la ley lo prohíba, al participar en el sorteo y/o resultar ganador del premio, el participante otorga su consentimiento irrevocable para el uso de su nombre, imagen, fotografía, apariencia, información biográfica, participación, declaraciones atribuidas al participante (si son verídicas) y cualquier video relacionado con el premio, para fines publicitarios, promocionales u otros fines comerciales de todas las entidades del sorteo, en todos los medios existentes o que se desarrollen en el futuro, a nivel mundial y de manera perpetua, sin compensación adicional, y además consiente que las entidades del sorteo incluyan su nombre en la lista de ganadores.  Ten en cuenta que Uber puede no agradecer la preferencia ni devolver ninguna participación.

10.  Términos generales.  Las Entidades del Sorteo no son responsables si el Sorteo no puede llevarse a cabo, o si el Premio no puede ser entregado debido a retrasos, interrupciones o fallas ocasionadas por causas de fuerza mayor, guerra, desastres naturales, condiciones climáticas, actos o amenazas de terrorismo, huelgas, cierres patronales, disputas laborales, paros, incendios, actos gubernamentales u otros eventos fuera del control razonable de las Entidades del Sorteo.  Si, por cualquier motivo, el Sorteo no puede realizarse según lo planeado, incluyendo, sin limitarse a, infección por virus informático, errores, manipulación, intervención no autorizada, fraude, fallas técnicas o cualquier otra causa fuera del control razonable de las Entidades del Sorteo, que, a juicio exclusivo de Uber, corrompa o afecte la administración, seguridad, equidad, integridad o el correcto desarrollo del Sorteo, Uber se reserva el derecho, a su entera discreción, de cancelar, terminar, modificar o suspender el Sorteo o cualquier parte del mismo. Si el Sorteo o alguna parte del Sorteo se termina o modifica antes del cierre del Periodo del Sorteo, se publicará un aviso en Uber.com. Uber se reserva el derecho de modificar y enmendar estas Reglas Oficiales durante el Periodo del Sorteo para fines de aclaración.

CUALQUIER INTENTO DE CUALQUIER PERSONA DE DAÑAR O SOCAVAR INTENCIONALMENTE EL FUNCIONAMIENTO LEGÍTIMO DEL SORTEO PUEDE CONSTITUIR UNA VIOLACIÓN DE LAS LEYES PENALES Y CIVILES, Y SI SE LLEGA A REALIZAR DICHO INTENTO, UBER SE RESERVA EL DERECHO DE BUSCAR RECURSOS Y RECLAMAR DAÑOS Y PERJUICIOS (INCLUYENDO HONORARIOS DE ABOGADOS) CONTRA DICHA PERSONA EN LA MAYOR MEDIDA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY.

La invalidez o imposibilidad de hacer cumplir cualquier disposición de estas Reglas Oficiales no afectará la validez o aplicabilidad de las demás disposiciones. En caso de que alguna disposición de las Reglas Oficiales se considere inválida, inaplicable o ilegal, las demás disposiciones permanecerán vigentes y se interpretarán de acuerdo con sus términos como si la disposición inválida o ilegal no estuviera incluida aquí. El hecho de que Uber no haga valer algún término de estas Reglas Oficiales no constituirá una renuncia a ese término ni a ninguna otra disposición de estas Reglas Oficiales. La persona participante acepta renunciar a cualquier derecho a reclamar ambigüedad en estas Reglas Oficiales. 11.  Privacy: All information submitted by Entrants and collected by Uber in connection with Entrant’s entry will be subject to and will be treated in a manner consistent with Uber’ Terms of Service accessible at: https://uber.com/terms/ and Uber’s User Privacy Policy available at: https://uber.com/us/es/privacy/. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant hereby agrees that Uber may collect and use his or her personal information submitted with the entry, and acknowledges that he or she has read and accepted the Uber User Privacy Policy.  Among other things, the information Entrants provide may be used for sending Entrants company updates and announcements about Uber and its products and/or services. Sweepstakes shall also be subject to TikTok’s Privacy Policy found at https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/privacy-policy/en.

13.  Ley aplicable:  Todas las leyes y regulaciones federales, estatales y locales aplican.  Nulo donde lo prohíba la ley.  Todos los asuntos y preguntas relacionados con la interpretación, validez y cumplimiento de estas Reglas Oficiales, o los derechos y obligaciones de la persona participante y Uber en relación con la promoción, se regirán e interpretarán de acuerdo con las leyes de California, sin dar efecto a ninguna norma sobre elección o conflicto de leyes (ya sea de California o de cualquier otra jurisdicción) que pudiera causar la aplicación de las leyes de una jurisdicción distinta a California.
