How to sign up and link accounts
To link your accounts, you’ll need both an Uber and an Aeroplan account. If you don’t have one, you can easily sign up for free.
Step 1: Scan this QR Code with your phone
- If you already have the Uber app, this QR code will take you to the account-linking page in the app.
- If you don’t have the Uber app, this QR code will take you to download the Uber app from the App Store or Play Store.
Step 2: Open your account settings in the Uber app
Open the Uber app and tap your profile picture, then tap Settings. If you’re on your mobile device, click the link below.
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the settings page
Scroll down to the Rewards section and tap Aeroplan, then tap Link Account on the next screen.
Step 4: Link your account
Follow the instructions on the account-linking page. Now you’re ready to start earning Aeroplan points with Uber.

Do I need an Aeroplan account to earn points?
Yes. If you’re not an Aeroplan Member, you can join in under 60 seconds for free at Aeroplan.com, then link your Aeroplan account to your Uber account in the Uber or Uber Eats app.
Can anyone sign up to earn Aeroplan points on Eats and Rides with Uber?
Anyone in Canada can earn Aeroplan points on eligible Uber Eats orders and qualifying Uber rides. Uber users who don’t currently have an Aeroplan account can join for free at Aeroplan.com. Only one Aeroplan Member account can be linked per Uber user.
Do I need to link my Aeroplan account to both the Eats and Rides apps to earn points?
You just need to link your Aeroplan account through either the Uber app or the Uber Eats app, and you’ll start earning Aeroplan points on both eligible Uber rides and eligible Uber Eats orders.
Do I need to be in Canada to earn points?
You can earn points and flight credits on eligible Uber rides in both Canada and the United States. You can earn Aeroplan points on eligible Uber Eats orders when they’re placed in Canada.
What can I do with Aeroplan points?
Aeroplan points can be redeemed for travel to more than 1,300 destinations around the world, as well as for hotels, car hire, merchandise, and gift cards through the Aeroplan eStore. Learn more about redeeming Aeroplan points.
How do I earn the Air Canada Flight Credit?
Once you’ve linked your Aeroplan and Uber accounts, you’ll earn an Air Canada flight credit for every 10 Uber trips you take (excluding UberPool) in Australia and the United States. The flight credit will show up in your Aeroplan Member dashboard within 6–8 weeks.
What can I use the Air Canada Flight Credit for?
Linked members can use their Air Canada Flight Credit for any new Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge booking that’s made directly through an Air Canada channel such as aircanada.com or the Air Canada mobile app. The Air Canada Flight Credit can’t be used for Air Canada Vacations or for any other airline (e.g. United Airlines, Lufthansa) booking, even if it’s made through Air Canada.

Eligibility: To be eligible to earn Aeroplan points (“Points”) with Uber, you must: Be an Aeroplan Program member (“Member”) and have an Aeroplan account in good standing (“Aeroplan Account”), all in accordance with Aeroplan’s Terms and Conditions; Have an Uber and/or Uber Eats account in Canada in good standing, all in accordance with Uber’s Terms of Use; Link your Aeroplan Account and Uber account by following the prompts in the Uber or Uber Eats app. You can only link one Uber and Uber Eats account with one Aeroplan Account. Redemption Offers:
Air Canada $20 Flight Credit: Earn 1 Air Canada flight credit valued at $20 CAD (for return bookings) or $10 CAD (for one-way bookings) (each a “Flight Credit”), for every 10 Uber rides (excluding UberX Share) taken in Canada. Uber rides will only count towards the total as long as the Aeroplan Account and Uber accounts are linked. The value of the Flight Credit discount applies to each passenger on the booking. Flight Credits can’t be used for multi-city trips or Aeroplan flight rewards and can’t be combined with any other promotion, coupon, flight credit or voucher, whether issued by Air Canada or any third party. Limit of 1 Flight Credit per booking. Flight Credits are only valid for new bookings on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge, and aren’t valid for bookings on any other carriers, including codeshare flights, even if the booking is made through aircanada.com or the Air Canada mobile app. The Flight Credit will only apply to bookings made directly through Air Canada booking channels (excluding Air Canada Vacations), and can’t be used if booking through a third party or travel agency.
