How Uber Pet works
1. Request
Enter your destination and choose Uber Pet from the available ride options. Confirm your trip and get matched with a pet-friendly ride. You’ll receive your trip details and can track your driver’s arrival.
2. Ride
Before you hop in, make sure the trip and driver details match. Bring your pet along (and we suggest bringing a towel as well, to protect the car seats) and enjoy the ride. Your route is set, but you can ask for changes if needed.
3. Arrive
Payment is taken care of automatically at the end of the trip, so you can hop out of the vehicle when you arrive at your destination. You can also rate your ride.
Tips for your Uber Pet trip
Use a lead or carrier
Keep your dog or cat safe and secure with a lead, harness, or carrier. Any other pets should travel in a carrier.
Stay with your pet
Always keep your pet with you. Don’t leave them unattended.
Ask about seating
Check if your driver has a preferred spot for your pet during the trip.
Help keep things tidy
Bring a blanket or towel to help protect the seat and keep the car clean
Assistance animal
You don't need to select Uber Pet when travelling with a service animal. You can request any ride option.
