We recently had the chance to catch up with Bree, the President of Klick Communications HI, to find out why she rides! See below for her story:

Why do you ride?

I ride Uber so I have the option not to drink and drive. In our PR world there are many events with adult beverages! The complimentary snacks that many Uber drivers provide are a nice touch too!

What makes you feel safe about riding with Uber?

I like being able to know who my driver is in advance and what they look like and the vehicle they are driving.

What occasions do you use Uber?

For dinners where I’ll be out late, special events and instances where I know parking will be a hassle.

What is your favorite feature in the app?

My favorite feature is being able to track where my driver is and see how far away they are.

When did you first download the Uber app?

I was so happy that Uber made it to Hawaii and downloaded it the moment I knew it arrived here – about three years ago.

What is your favorite Uber option (product) and why?

I love the flexibility that Uber offers and I choose the option most suited to the occasion. If it’s just me, I’ll opt for uberX, or if there’s a group of us, I always choose uberXL so we can ride together.

What is your favorite place to Uber to?

My favorite place to Uber to is home. By then ‘it’s time.’

Before Getting into the Car

  • No more street hails or waiting outside to find a ride.  You can start the Uber app from anywhere and wait safely for your car to arrive.
  • Trips are no longer anonymous.  When a driver accepts your request, you see his or her first name, photo, and license plate number.  You can also check whether others have had a good experience with him or her by viewing their rating.  

During the Ride

  • Never get lost.  You can see the route on the map in the app.  
  • Share your ETA and location.  You can easily share your ride details, including the specific route and estimated time of arrival, with friends or family for extra peace of mind. 

After the Ride

  • Feedback and ratings after every trip.  After every ride, you and your drivers are asked to rate each other and provide feedback.  
  • 24/7 Support.  If something happens in a car, our customer support team is ready to respond to any issues 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Rapid Response.  We have a dedicated Incident Response Team to answer any more urgent issues.
