We Love the Short North

The Short North has a special place in our Uber Columbus hearts. It was the location of our first office, a co-working space on Pearl St., where we spent countless early mornings and late nights building, running, and growing Uber in Ohio and Kentucky. Although we’ve since moved to a new office just a stone’s throw away, we still frequent the Short North to visit the places and the people that stole our hearts.
We’re giving away a Short North staycation!
One lucky Uber rider will receive a one-night stay at Le Meridien, door-to-door service courtesy of Uber, and a swag bag full of goods from Short North vendors.

- Ride Uber between Monday, December 7 and Sunday, December 13
- After you apply the code, every ride you take between 7am Monday and 11:59pm Sunday counts as one entry

Sweepstakes Name: Neighborhood Love Contest: Short North
Sweepstakes Period: Monday, December 7, 2015 at 7:00 am Eastern Time until Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
Winners Announced: Monday, December 14, 2015 at 12:00 pm Eastern Time.
Age/Location Requirements: Uber users 18 years or older in Columbus, Ohio.
Method of Entry: During the Sweepstakes Period, you must enter by entering the “SHONOLUV” promo code in the Uber App and completing an Uber Ride. Uber users may also enter by e-mail without obligation, by sending your name and email address to [email protected] with name of the sweepstakes in the subject line. E-mail entries must be time-stamped on or before the final day of the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entries, both by riding on Uber and by e-mail, are allowed.
Prizes and Approximate Retail Values: One individual and guest will win the following: (1) A one night stay at Le Meridien Columbus; (2) $50 gift card to Homage; (3) $50 gift card to Rose Bredl; (4) 2 bags of whole bean coffee from Mission Coffee Co.; (5) $25 gift card to The Table; (6) $25 gift card to Tigertree; (7) One t-shirt and two tour passes to Middle West Spirits; and (8) round-trip transportation to the Le Meridien up to $25 each way provided by Uber. The approximate retail value of the prizes is $500.
How Winner is Selected: The winner will be randomly chosen following the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
