Clear your calendars—#UberKITTENS are Coming to Charleston!
Written byThis Thursday will be anything but business as usual – get ready for an #UberKITTENS office takeover!
UBER IS DELIVERING KITTENS ON-DEMAND IN OVER 50 CITIES!
HOW IT WORKS:
- Open your Uber app between 11am & 3pm.
- Request the “KITTENS” option in your app.
- Once the kittens arrive, you and your friends will get to enjoy 15 minutes of kitten cuteness! PRO TIP: Make sure to have an enclosed space purrrfect for playtime!
- The best part? All of the participating kittens are eligible for adoption.
*If you’re lucky enough to request kittens to your office, please make sure your boss or building is pet-friendly and that no one in the area is allergic. Having a dedicated room for kitten playtime is preferred.
We’re proud to partner with the Frances R. Willis SPCA for #UberKITTENS this year, a local shelter that was severely damaged on October 3 due to heavy storms and flooding. Despite the devastating circumstances, the shelter continues to provide critical services to displaced animals throughout the community. Our $30 “snuggle fee” will help Uber to support the Frances R. Willis SPCA as it rebuilds and recovers from the disaster.
If you’re smitten for a kitten or looking for a new purr-sonal assistant, all of the participating kittens will be available for adoption. Local shelter representatives will be on hand assisting with kitten playtime to answer any questions.
Demand will be high as many will want to snuggle our furry friends, so your patience is appreciated. We’ll do our best to deliver as many kitten cuddles as possible, but availability is limited! If you can’t get a visit from #UberKITTENS on Thursday, you can visit the adoptable kittens in person at one of Frances R. Willis SPCA’s upcoming adoption events linked below.
We hope you have a purr-fect day!
