‘Tis the season for giving. Today and tomorrow, we’re partnering with the American Red Cross to deliver holiday cards to the men and women of our U.S. Armed Forces—signed by you.

Select cars will be stocked with cards for U.S. service members. Feel free to share your best wishes while you ride, and show our #UberHEROES that Philly’s thinking of them this holiday season.

“I joined the Marines after college, and went in as enlisted, not an officer. It was something I had always wanted to do. I served on active duty in Desert Storm… I was in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.”

“With Uber, you can start earning money immediately… and control your hours, whether you’re looking for a full time job, or learning something new for a skilled job. Uber buys you the time you need to do that, and still have money coming in.”

“I was a squad leader, and later a Platoon Sergeant, in charge of a group of people, all walks of life, all different types…I got to be their leader and they came to me for their help. With that, it has taught me how to really care for people no matter what. I love helping people. In 2014 I put my packet in for retirement from the military. They have job programs, and symposiums and programs to help you find work, submit your resumes, but for a military guy who has always been on the move, they tell you you’re going to have all this freedom now, and it can be really overwhelming. There was a period of about two weeks where I didn’t know what to do, and that’s when my brother told me about Uber.”
