Over the past 3 weeks, LA and OC’s most beloved restaurants competed for the crown of “Most Popular Dish” on UberEATS. Bay Cities and The Halal Guys moved to the final round, but we have a huge surprise!

UPDATE 3/25/17

Round 3 of #Menutology is now in the books, with thousands of diehard foodies tasting the madness. Here’s a recap:

  • Umami Burger didn’t make it out of the third cook-off, with their loss busting plenty of brackets.
  • Canter’s Deli dished multiple orders against Boo’s Philly Cheesesteaks, knocking the LA favorite out of the tournament.
  • Both Bay Cities and The Halal Guys operated at high levels in Round 3, moving one step closer to the championship .

Round 4 starts today, March 25th, with only 8 restaurants left in the battle. Who will win? You decide! Order from your favorite restaurant to keep them and their exclusive $5 dish alive.

 

UPDATE 3/23/17

With nail-biting victories, lovable underdogs and unthinkable upsets,#Menutology returns today with Round 3! It’s now down to 16 restaurants, making it even more crucial that you support your favorites by ordering their exclusive $5 meals. The restaurant with the most orders moves on.

Some key match ups to look for in Round 3 of cook-offs include Bay Cities and their iconic Godmother sandwich, who will be going against feel-good eatery The Poke Shack and its Big Daddy Poke Bowl. Also, it’s sure to be a tight race between two LA icons – Umami Burger and Dinah’s Fried Chicken – with both restaurants turning up the heat in the kitchen for their battle.

UPDATE 3/18/17

Round 1 of #Menutology tipped off Thursday with a full slate of cook-offs that were anything but predictable!

  • Two of SoCal’s powerhouses, Bay Cities and The Halal Guys, put up impressive numbers and rolled through to Round 2.
  • A few lucky orders could’ve made the difference for Fresh Corn Grill, who was serving up a mean Fresh Corn Grilled Salad, but ultimately fell short of Holy Cow’s Baby Back Ribs.
  • It was a nail-biter between, Greenleaf Chopshop and STACKED, with Greenleaf Chopshop stirring up some last-minute magic to secure the victory.
  • Can Ayara Thai keep rolling? A heat check for the Westchester based favorite comes right off the bat, with a matchup against Oh My Burger in the next round.
