As an official partner of SXSW, Uber Eats is teaming up with some of Austin’s best restaurants and national foodie favorites to transform the festival’s culinary experience. Making incredible moments even better, Uber Eats is feeding the festival through a series of activations and events, and elevating the entire experience to transform culinary pain points into rave-worthy bites. Beginning on Friday, March 8, we’ll host a series of innovative food and entertainment experiences for SXSW-goers. Here’s what’s on tap:

Live performances at the Uber Eats House (612 W 4th Street):

For three nights throughout the festivities, Uber Eats invites SXSW attendees and Austinites alike to enjoy entertainment from hot-ticket music alongside delicious dishes from top restaurant partners.

  • Thursday, March 14: Uber Eats Presents: Performance by Khalid. Eats by McDonald’s. The platinum recording artist performs live from the Uber Eats stage while fans enjoy iconic favorites from McDonald’s.
  • Friday, March 15: Uber Eats Presents: Performance by Virgil Abloh. Eats by Milk Bar. The party of the week features a performance by the multi-talented DJ featuring a guest lineup with sweet treats served by Milk Bar.

Uber Eats Window (600 E 6th Street): Located on one of Austin’s busiest streets, the Uber Eats Window will offer festival-goers instant access to grab n’ go goodies in between panels, en route to a session, or after a workshop. This modern twist on a drive-through restaurant will pop open over the course of the festival to feed badge-holders throughout all that SXSW has to offer with favorite menu items from Austin Uber Eats restaurant partners including The Peached Tortilla, East Side King, Tamale House, Juice Austin and more.

We hope you’ll check out our culinary music mash-ups and swing by our window for a pick-me-up. And when you’re in line for buzzworthy sessions, keep your eyes peeled for surprise bites and beverages from some of our most beloved restaurants partners. That’s right, we’re here to make waiting in line an enjoyable experience!
