In celebration of Mother’s Day, we sat down with a local mom who has been driving around town with that special mother’s touch since September 2014.

Meet Katherine |  uberX, UberEATS, and Uber VIP Partner in Dallas, TX

Katherine is an energetic mother of three, happily married, and working full time as a teacher in a classroom full of rambunctious kindergarteners. And on top of all these impressive feats, she was also recently named one of the top 10 Uber partners in DFW.

“Hands down the BEST uber driver I have ever had. Very friendly, respectful, caring and I felt extremely safe riding with her.”

“When I was having an allergic reaction, she drove me to the hospital and offered to stay until we were cared for.”

As an Uber partner, Katherine loves being behind the wheel and the flexibility is a great fit for her extremely busy lifestyle. She has always genuinely enjoyed meeting new people, and appreciates having the opportunity to earn money while doing exactly that. Her kind words of wisdom and soft smile is accepting of everyone who enters her car. She tries her hardest to remain flexible, optimistic, and to turn things around, if the ride is not perfect. On a day-to-day basis as a mom and teacher, she has learned to remain flexible and optimistic by embracing what she is given and striving to make it great.

As a mom, Katherine cherishes being able to watch her kids evolve. She appreciates her own family, how hard they work, and how supportive they are of her as a mom and whatever responsibility hat she chooses to wear each day. She feels that her experiences as a mom helps her be a better Uber partner and visa versa.

When she’s not out on the road, you can find her working in her yard or sewing; she genuinely cherishes the ability to make and see big changes quickly. Katherine is also a huge ice hockey fan and loves the sport for it’s inherent speed of play.
