The perfect summer t-shirt — part myth, part scientific anomaly.

Every year we endeavor to create the best t-shirt or tank that will carry our team through the summer months. This year, we decided we’d leave it to the professionals. With the help of three talented NYC artists — Curtis Kulig, Baron Von Fancy, and Deer Dana — we’ve finally created not one, but three perfect summer tees that truly represent Uber in NYC. (Hint: The header image of this post contains part of one of the designs.)

Once we saw just how amazing these designs were turning out to be, we knew we couldn’t keep them to ourselves. Instead, we’re sharing them with our loyal community.

Starting on July 29th, we’ll be debuting the designs weekly on Instagram and Twitter, plus giving several shirts away. This is the only place you’ll be able to win one these limited-edition pieces (like 1 in 100 limited), so make sure you’re following us!

About the Artists

curtis kulig
Artist Curtis Kulig lives and works in NYC, where his signature “Love Me” message has quickly become an icon. From New York to Istanbul to Tokyo, the two-word manifesto has deftly jumped from iconic billboards and street corners to bronze sculpture, scintillating neons, large-scale canvas and ubiquitous prints. Kulig has done brand collaborations with Colette, DKNY, LeSportsac — and now Uber! — among others, making him internationally distinguished in both the fine art and commercial domain. His latest release is a free #LoveMe app that lets everyone create a masterpiece of their own with his playful smiley face.

Baron Von Fancy
Baron Von Fancy is a multimedia artist born, raised, and living in New York City. Questioning conventions and pushing boundaries, his work can be found on gallery walls, street corners, and retail counters.

deerdana

Dana Veraldi and Kevin Tekinel are the founding partners of Deer Dana, the NYC design collective behind sought after t-shirt collections featuring hand-drawn portraits of cultural tastemakers in music, film, fashion, sports, and art.
