The warm aroma of pastries and plenty of friendly smiles instantly hit you upon entrance to this quaint bake shop. Located in the heart of Downtown Dallas, the 1930’s character of the building is a perfect match for the charm and appeal of the shop that you’re sure to adore. This week, we are highlighting our UberEATS partner, The Hospitality Sweet.

Meet Meghan – An entrepreneur with a personality as sweet as her cake pops and the co-owner of The Hospitality Sweet. Meghan and her sister, Kristen, have always had a hunger to feed their creative side. So inside of their mother’s kitchen they gathered up some flour and cookbooks and The Hospitality Sweet came to life; 6 years later, the baking has yet to stop. Kicking off their line of goodies by simply catering for family and friends, they soon outgrew Mom’s kitchen and paired up with London-based furniture store, Timothy Oulton, which gave them their first taste of a storefront.

the restaurant business, they thought, “why not!” and dove in head first. As Dallas natives, having a shop downtown has given them the opportunity to provide southern hospitality, something they learned at a young age, to people in their local community on a daily basis.

“I never wanted this to be about the bottom line or the monthly P&L, but about the people and the relationships we are making.”

Stop by their shop at 400 N. Ervay downtown or be sure to order a meal through UberEATS, when they’re featured!
