We couldn’t have done it without your help. Delaware is now among more than 30 states with new, statewide laws for ridesharing platforms like Uber.

Governor Markell signed SB 262 into law earlier this month, and with the enactment of this legislation, the requirements for all ridesharing platforms operating in the state, including safety and consumer protections, background checks and reporting obligations, have been codified in Delaware law. Thanks to this new law, Uber can stay in Delaware for the long term, giving riders more affordable, reliable options and expanding opportunity for drivers across the state.
