Los Angeles might not be recognized as a BBQ hotbed, but there’s a quickly growing scene of restaurants serving up lip-smackingly good meats. Since today is National Barbecue Day, we want to honor all things grilled, smoked and down-right delicious, by counting down some of our favorite BBQ restaurants on UberEATS!

From sticky baby back ribs, to slow-roasted brisket, to spicy Korean flavors, your carnivorous cravings will be satisfied with this dream list. Brace yourself for some serious meat sweats!

Barrel & Ashes

If you’re looking for a traditional barbecue, Barrel & Ashes is it. Think beef brisket, Frito pie, and BBQ Chicken. We recommend satisfying your meat craving with the pulled pork sandwich, filled with coleslaw and Carolina gold on a milk roll. All of their meats are smoked over coastal California Red Oak and cooked over White Oak, using an open-hearth oven, a rotisserie and mesquite grill – they seriously know what they’re doing!

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que

This is one drool-worthy restaurant that meat lovers won’t want to miss. With special spice rubs, and meat cooked for hours on end, Lucille’s Smokehouse Barb-B-Que has gained a cult-like following in SoCal. Try to resist their signature meat platters, where you can pick and choose between tri-tip, chicken, baby back ribs, spicy hot links, pulled pork, or brisket burnt ends, served with your choice of two traditional sides. Oh, and did we mention the homemade biscuits with apple butter? Because you should order those too!

Holy Cow

Foodies come to Holy Cow for the baby back ribs, which are hand rubbed and slow smoked to perfection, and it’s easy to see why. They come in either a half or whole rack, and are smothered in Q-sauce and served with slaw. And that’s the only way to do it, sticky fingers be damned. The sides deserve a shout out as well, especially the mac and cheese and loaded taters.

Oo-kook Tofu & BBQ

Affordable, and forever flavorsome, Korean barbecue is just as good as its slow-cooked Southern relative, with Oo-kook Tofu & BBQ being the perfect example. Whether you order the beef galbi or the pork belly with dry tofu wraps, you’re in for an authentic Korean feast.

Seoul Sausage Co.

Beginning as a tiny catering company run out of an apartment kitchen, Seoul Sausage Co is now a popular go-to in Downtown LA.  Top picks from their grill include the Kalbi sausage, served with kimchi relish, garlic jalapeno aioli and fried shallots, as well as their rice bowls and fried chicken. For those that love heat, the Pair O’Balls, made with flaming spicy pork, kimchi, cheese and Osaka beef, is calling your name and comes with a delightful curry punch.

Moana Hawaiian BBQ

Determined to bring traditional Hawaiian food to Los Angeles, Moana Hawaiian BBQ serves up flavorful local dishes and “plate lunches”. You have your choice of meat, including poultry, beef, and seafood, but we recommend opting for the BBQ chicken tacos and spam musubi. Don’t worry, if what you really want is to get your hands dirty, you can still opt for the Hawaiian BBQ Short Rib
