This year, celebrate the holidays by giving back to your community. We’ve partnered with Valley Regional Transit to help collect toys this Saturday, December 3, for the Salvation Army.

All you have to do is purchase new, unwrapped toys for families in need in Boise, request the DONATE option in the Uber app, and we’ll take care of the rest. Our driver-partners will pick up your toys for free and take them to one of the seven participating Fred Meyer locations to stuff a Valley Regional Transit bus full of toys.

In the 20 years that Stuff the Bus has run in Boise, more than 100,000 toys have been donated and distributed to families in need in the Boise metro area.

How it works:

  1. Collect your new, unwrapped toys for donation
  2. Open your Uber app between 10am-4pm on Saturday, December 3
  3. Tap the DONATE option at the bottom of the screen
  4. If available, an Uber driver-partner will arrive to pick up your toys and will drop off your donation to a nearby Stuff the Bus donation location
