As Boston continues to grow and evolve, change can bring new challenges but also new and exciting ways to solve them. With a growing population and aging infrastructure, it’s important to be proactive in keeping our city’s roads safe. That’s why supporting the work the City of Boston is doing around the Vision Zero Initiative was a no-brainer for Uber Boston. By implementing their new Safety Concerns Map, Boston is using innovative technology to identify problematic areas and improve road conditions.

This week, we connected thousands of our driver-partners to the program. With coverage all over Greater Boston and the fact that they’re constantly traveling new routes, Uber driver-partners can help improve our roadways by identifying dangerous intersections, potholes, traffic light issues, and other potentially dangerous areas by using the Safety Concerns Map. Between trips, drivers can now easily report any issues they see on the road.
