The best part of heading back to school this semester? It’s not the new schedule of classes, the reunion with old friends, or the parties. It’s the fact that college students across the country have the chance to win free Uber rides for the entire semester.

Enter now for the chance to win a semester of free Uber rides

From now through September 7, college students in participating states can enter to win a semester of free Uber rides ($1,600 value), and one winner will be selected from each participating state.

How to enter

Have an Uber account?

  1. Enter to win by submitting your student email address here.
  2. Confirm the phone number associated with your Uber account.
  3. Refer as many classmates as you want by giving them your referral code. You’ll be entered an additional time for every classmate who signs up using your referral code.
    1. Open your Uber app.
    2. Tap the menu icon in the top left.
    3. Tap Promotions, then you’ll be navigated to a screen with your personal referral code, which you can share with friends.

No Uber account?

  1. Download the Uber app and create an account using your student email address.
  2. That’s it—you’ve entered to win.
  3. Refer as many classmates as you want by giving them your referral code. You’ll be entered an additional time for every classmate who signs up using your referral code.

    2. Tap the menu icon in the top left.
    3. Tap Promotions, then you’ll be navigated to a screen with your personal referral code, which you can share with friends.

Students must enter by September 7 at 11:59pm, and Uber will select one winner per participating state on September 8.
