We are proud to make getting to and from the Idaho Potato Drop the best experience yet, as part of our partnership with the Idaho New Year’s Commission. Our designated Pick-up and Drop-off location will make finding your driver simple and enjoyable, so you can focus on the fun. Starting at 6pm and going until the celebrations end just after midnight, Uber will be picking up and dropping off on 6th Street between W. Bannock Street and W. Jefferson Street.

To help facilitate the process further, there will be 10 stalls within the pick-up/drop-off zone. For the perfect pickup: when requesting an Uber, please confirm the stall number you’re located in with your Uber Partner-Driver via text/call.

Pro Tips:

  • Ask your driver to drop you off on 6th, between Bannock St. and Jefferson St – look for the Uber signs and stalls.
  • When leaving the Idaho Potato Drop, look for the Mobile Message when you open your app, directing you to the pick-up/drop-off zone.
  • Walk to an open stall in the pick-up area and text your Uber partner to let him/her know where you are for the perfect pickup.
