When you ride on uberPOOL, we’ll connect you with someone traveling the same direction so you can share your ride and split the cost—making your fare 25% less than uberX.

How it Works

  2. After you enter your destination, choose the save money by sharing your car with another rider and tap Request POOL
  3. Relax and ride

For each uberPOOL ride you take, you’ll be entered to win a $50 Taco Mac gift card + safe rides. Winners must be 21 years of age or older.

Sweepstakes Period: Friday, December 4, 2015 at 3:00 pm Eastern Time until Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time.
Winners Announced: Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:30 pm Eastern Time.
Age/Location Requirements: Uber users 21 years or older within the Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia.
Method of Entry: During the Sweepstakes Period, you must enter by entering the “SOUTHERNSHOWDOWN” promo code in the Uber App or click the link to the blog, then request a ride on uberPOOL that starts within the uberPOOL geofence, and completing the uberPOOL ride. Uber users may also enter by e-mail without obligation, by sending your name and email address to [email protected] with the name of the sweepstakes in the subject line. E-mail entries must be time-stamped on or before the final day of the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entries, both by riding on Uber and by e-mail, are allowed.
Prizes and Approximate Retail Values: 10 (ten) individuals will each win a $50 gift card to Taco Mac and promo code valid for up to $100 off on Uber rides. Such promotional value on Uber shall expire on Saturday, December 6, 2015 at 12:00 pm Eastern Time. The approximate retail value of each prize is $150.
How Winner is Selected: The winner will be randomly chosen following the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
