With the nation’s first presidential primary behind us, we took a moment to look at how the Granite State and its thousands of visitors moved around last week.

The first-in-the-nation primary is one of the most influential moments in a presidential election, having the power to shift or set momentum for candidates as they prepare for the party conventions just a few months later.

Thousands of press and candidate staff members descend upon New Hampshire following the Iowa caucuses for a final round of intense local campaigning. With so many locals and out-of-towners traversing our state, we saw the number of people taking trips in New Hampshire almost double in the week leading up to the primary.

We also noticed some patterns in the way the 603 got out and voted. During polling hours, our data showed the highest uptick in rides occurring from 10am – 2pm, and over the course of the day, twice the number of trips took place than previous Tuesdays.

Trips were up two fold across Manchester, Nashua, Durham and Portsmouth compared to previous Tuesdays.

We are proud to have played a role in helping move last Tuesday’s primary, and look forward to driving New Hampshire forward for years to come.
