Let’s Go Bulldogs: The Game Day Guide
Written byThis Saturday is the day Yalies have been anticipating all football season long —The Game. The event—the annual football showdown between the Crimson and the Bulldogs—is one of the oldest and most spirited rivalries in the history of college sports and this year we’re behind the Yalies to turn the (Crimson) tide around in their favor.
Even though the past few games havent seen the Bulldogs come out as top dog on the field, we wanted to point out how fans have taken aim at outdoing (read: outsmarting) each other off the field.
-
1992: the Bulldog’s marching band outsmarted the Crimson’s attempt to embarrass them on their own turf
-
2004: known as “The Prank”, a group of Bulldogs tricked close to 1,800 Crimson fans to hold up play card signs and the result has become infamous in college football and the rivalry between the Bulldogs and the Crimson
-
2012: the Bulldogs had a message sky-written dinging the Crimson team
Tomorrow we’ll be sporting our blue and white, but we’ll also be at the field to get fans to and from the action, no matter what team they’re rooting for.
Be sure to read our pro tips below to help you get to and from The Game safely and with ease
In the spirit of friendly competition, we also wanted to give fans another chance to get in on the fun.
