Walk away from the fest before you request
When you’re ready to leave the festival, make sure you request your pickup in an area that is as easily accessible to cars as possible. By taking a short walk away from crowds and street closures, it will be much easier and faster for you to connect with a driver. Our recommended pick up spots are:

Festival PRO TIPS
Check the price
Surge Pricing shouldn’t be a surprise. Get a Fare Estimate in the app before you ride. To avoid the highest fares, head to the festivities early or relax somewhere along Jefferson a little longer and wait for the crowds to die down after the music ends.
Fare split and save
Use fare split if you’re rolling with the whole krewe. uberX can seat groups up to 4, while uberXL can handle parties up to 6 passengers.
Confirm your driver
Due to road closures around the festival, we recommend that you call or text your driver through the app to coordinate the best pickup location. Make sure to confirm your driver’s car model and license plate in the app before you hop in your ride.

Make sure you get don’t caught up in a cleaning fee by finishing up your drinks and snacks before you jump in the car to ensure there will be no accidental messes.
