Midtown is known for its vibrant nightlife and premier restaurants. For those who know Midtown, Little Woodrow’s has long been a popular place for a night on the town thanks to its spacious patio and fun atmosphere. The bar claimed the top destination for riders last week, thanks in part to Houstonians cheering on their country, UFC 202, and Thursday night turtle racing (yes, you read that right).

“The concept has been around for about 20 years,” Managing Partner Nick Menage points out. “We’ve grown to seven locations here in Houston, while expanding across Texas to San Antonio, Austin, and later this year, Dallas.”

Little Woodrow’s offers an extensive beer selection and craft cocktails on tap with friendly service and a knowledgeable staff, Menage tells us.

“You can go to any bar within a block or two of us and get the same product. We want to provide the friendliest service in a relaxed atmosphere to keep our customers coming back.”

Thursday night turtle racing has become a Houston pastime. Entering their eighth season, Little Woodrow’s awards shirts and koozies to those who correctly pick the winning turtle. One of the competing turtles, “James Franco,” is always a popular choice.

As college and pro football season approaches, Little Woodrow’s will be a go-to spot for fans rooting on on their favorite teams. Sign up with the promo code LWHOUSTON to get $20 off your first ride!
