Halloween Weekend
Written bySafety has always been a priority at Uber. On one of the busiest party weekends of the year, we want to help you get home safely.
As you prepare to celebrate this weekend, please be responsible – put safety first, make a plan before you drink, and commit to not drink and drive.
We’ll be available 24/7 to provide you with a safe, reliable ride home at the touch of a button.
Demand increases on Halloween, and rides may be more pricey than usual. When there are more requests for rides than cars available, Surge Pricing kicks in and prices go up. This encourages additional drivers to go online and meet demand. So find friends to ride with this weekend.
But don’t get spooked by Surge Pricing. Get a Fare Estimate in the app to get an idea of the cost before you ride.
And sharing isn’t scary. Split your fare if you’re rolling with friends. The more costumed companions you split with — the lower the cost.
Demand for rides will be highest between 8 pm – 2 am.
We’re doing something special this weekend as part of our commitment to raise awareness about safe transportation options and smart alternatives to drinking and driving. At any of the locations below, join us to check out our new breathalyzer kiosk brought to you in partnership with our friends at Jack Daniel’s to remind Halloween enthusiasts that driving under the influence is never acceptable and encourage bar goers to get a safe ride home.
Party safely, and party on, South Florida.
