Yelp's Guide for the Best Fourth of July in Cleveland

The start of July is here and you’ve got a long weekend to soak up the vitamin D! We’ve partnered with our local Yelp Cleveland team to bring you the hottest events you can’t miss this 4th!

Yelp’s cant miss events:

The Star Spangled Spectacular on Friday at 9pm: Enjoy a free community concert from world renowned The Cleveland Orchestra and watch fireworks light up the sky to the beat of the music
Greater Cleveland Aquarium’s Red, White & Brew on Monday: Enjoy live music on the water, taste food from delicious food trucks, and watch the Cleveland fireworks from a prime viewing location.
Lakewood 4th of July Parade & Celebration on Monday: The parade kicks off at 10am followed by family fun at Lakewood Park. Fireworks go off at 9:45pm

Where to eat:

Greenhouse Tavern

The food is killer gastropub fare. In sum, this place is a winner. Check it out for Happy Hour or for a romantic dinner. The rooftop bar is the place to be in high summer for a bird’s eye view of E 4th’s relentless hustle and bustle.

The Proper Pig Smokehouse

It’s always a good sign when the line is nearly to the door! What stood out to me the most were the quality of service and the tenderness of the meats. All of the meats were succulent and tender, even the turkey. The ribs had a good amount of meat on them and the brisket had a beautiful smoke ring. All of the meats had a peppery rub on them and the sauce that accompanied them was a sweet and tangy Midwestern style.

The Proper Pig has a casual feel that’s ideal for a smokehouse: rolls of paper towels and big bottles of BBQ sauce adorn the tables.

Where to drink:

The Harp

Good selection of beers including some sharp mixes they created themselves. The patio is nice and big great for summertime, and if you sit in the right spot you are able to have an amazing view of Cleveland.

Pier W Lakewood

I think this is one of the best Happy Hours in Cleveland! It has one of the best views of Cleveland and the prices of their food and drink items is a steal!
