The start of July is here and you’ve got a long weekend to soak up the vitamin D! We’ve partnered with our local Yelp Cincinnati team to bring you the hottest events you can’t miss this 4th!

  1. Washington Park 4th of July Jam on Saturday: enjoy the park and gaze at the fireworks launching at 9:45pm
  2. Fountain Square Independence Day Celebration + Fireworks: On Sunday you can shop the square at Art on Vine during the day and scope out your viewing spot to watch the fireworks at 10:30pm
  3. Balloon Glow at Coney Island on Sunday: live music, family entertainment, and topping off with fireworks at 10pm

If you have only a couple days in town, the decor and personality of Camp Washington Chili sets it apart from other chili parlors, and is worth your visit. It was worth mine.

A bar that is themed after The Shinning? Yes please! I could not love Overlook Lodge: A Rustic Watering Hole more than I already do. When you walk in you are transported to a lovely vintage hotel (with a few secrets). The beverages at Overlook are tasty, well priced, and plentiful!
