On Tuesday, August 9th, hundreds of thousands of people who live and work in the greater Bay Area will now experience the UberEATS app as we expand to the South Bay and Peninsula. Residents and commuters spending time in Redwood City all the way south to greater San Jose will be able to order from over 175 of the area’s best restaurants, and have them delivered faster than ever before.

Ever since UberEATS launched in San Francisco in March of this year, the UberEATS team has been looking forward to expanding coverage into the heart of Silicon Valley, the home base for many of the Bay Area’s best restaurants. Starting today, you can order from local favorites like Oren’s Hummus, Fuki Sushi, Sprout Cafe, Falafel’s Drive-In, Bonchon Chicken, Amber Indian Restaurant and many more.

“Just five months since our San Francisco launch, we have added hundreds of restaurants to our offering and expanded to the East Bay. Now with our South Bay and Peninsula launch, we are bringing the speed and reliability of UberEATS to even more people across the Bay Area.” – Susan Alban, GM UberEVERYTHING
