Los Angeles

Kogi Taqueria – Palms
An icon of LA street food, Roy Choi’s Kogi Taqueria has taken the food world by storm. Serving a taqueria-style menu of homemade carne asada, burritos and carnitas, Choi perfectly incorporates Korean and Mexican flavors. The fan favorite? Tacos taqueria style, served with your choice of protein, salsa de arbol, salsa aguacate and cilantro-onion-lime relish over two corn tortillas, with a side of escabeche and radishes.

Jinya Ramen Bar
Anyone from Japan can tell you: real Japanese ramen isn’t about the noodles, it’s about the broth. That’s why Jinya Ramen’s signature stocks take center-stage on their menu. Slowly simmered for more than ten hours, you’ll choose from pork, chicken or vegetable broth and then enjoy some of the most traditional and flavorsome ramen in SoCal. One taste of the spicy chicken ramen and we can guarantee you’ll see why Jinya Ramen is a bowl above others.

Sweetfin
Poke bowls aren’t going anywhere soon, and Sweetfin serves up some of the best in the city. Offering a whole range of fresh fish and house-made sauces, they are also known for their taro chips and infused coconut water. Did we mention they have 21 additional toppings for your poke bowl? See you there.

WaBa Grill
Serving up the best possible grilled fusion menu, including fresh salads and hearty rice bowls, WaBa Grill has quickly become a favorite for those seeking a quick lunch or healthy dinner. You can do no wrong with their famed chicken rice bowl, with grilled all-natural chicken brushed with their signature Waba sauce and served on a bed of rice. Vegetarians fear not! They have a tofu menu to cure all your cravings!

Tocaya Organica
Redefining Mexican food with their fresh and healthy menu, you can wave the days of greasy fingers behind at this organic Mexican joint. Tocaya Organica covers salads, bowls, tacos, burritos, and wraps – with plenty of vegan and gluten free options. The shredded kale and quinoa salad has a cult-like following, and we can happily recommend the Cali green tacos.

The Halal Guys
After 25 years of feeding NYC, The Halal Guys couldn’t keep its gyros and falafels from LA any longer. If there’s a better way to end a decent night out, we’re yet to find it. Fries? Yes. Fresh pita? You bet. Mouth-watering meat? Absolutely. We recommend trying their famed combo platters, and don’t forget the signature White sauce!

STACKED
Choose among dozens of ingredients to create the perfect meal for your taste at this customizable restaurant. Whether you’re craving burgers, pizzas, salad or mac ‘n’ cheese, you can guarantee STACKED will have the cure! Not sure where to start? We recommend the stack ‘n’ blue burger: Angus beef meat with roasted shallot mayo, Applewood smoked bacon and crispy onion strings all on a brioche bun with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and topped with bleu cheese.

Orange County

Umami Burger
Renowned as one of the best burger joints in the country, Umami Burger’s ingenious flavors will surely satisfy that appetite. Make sure to try the exclusive UberEATS burger – beef patty, teriyaki, miso-maple bacon, tempura avocado, fried egg and miso mustard served on their signature Portuguese style buns.

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que
This is one drool-worthy restaurant that meat lovers won’t want to miss. With special spice rubs and meat cooked for hours on end, Lucille’s Smokehouse Barb-B-Que has gained a cult-like following amongst Angelenos. Feeling hungry? Order the BBQ beef ribs and you’ll be presented with a hearty rack of tender, spice rubbed and slowly smoked beef ribs, glazed with BBQ sauce.

Pho Amie
Pho the love of Vietnamese! We’ve slurped our way through bowl after bowl of pho, but Pho Amie remains one of our top picks. Offering up 24 different versions of pho we recommend newbies try the chicken – served fresh, fast and hot! Also on offer are beloved Vietnamese street foods, including garlic wings, seafood fried rice and beef and broccoli stir-fry. Yum!
