In continuing our celebration of International Women’s History month, we’re highlighting two dynamic driver partners in Nebraska.

Julie, from Omaha, started driving with Uber in 2015. In college, Julie drove for the bus system, and because of driving with Uber, Julie is now the ‘go to girl for her friends for suggestions on what’s hot now, and how to get there!”

Jill, from Lincoln, started driving in July of 2015, with inspiration from her son. Jill told us that ‘my son and his friends always called me when the bars closed, and when Uber came to town it was just a natural fit.’ In addition to the flexibility, Jill ‘enjoy[s] providing a service to the community’ by driving with the Uber platform.

Read on to learn how Julie and Jill are driving the way Nebraska moves.

“In I college drove for bus system–love that this is more intimate. You get to know people and hear all sorts of stories. New Uber riders always ask great questions. There are a lot of us out there and so many great stories. It’s not scary, it’s your own vehicle. ”

“I love interacting with different people, as well as getting people home safe. I also love the flexibility of it. You go into it with an open mind and you are picking up different aspects of the world and you just kinda have to roll with it. You just have to get out of your box and out of your comfort zone. Look at it as an adventure.
